Nature Harmony Apiary is a family-run apiary located in North Potomac, Maryland. What started as a passion for beekeeping and supporting local pollinators has grown into a small apiary producing raw local honey, nucleus colonies, and beekeeping supplies for our local community.

Our bees collect nectar from local wildflowers, trees, herbs, and gardens throughout the area, creating honey that is truly local to our region. Each season’s honey is slightly different depending on what is in bloom, which gives our honey its unique flavor and color throughout the year. We harvest our honey raw and unfiltered to preserve its natural flavor, enzymes, and nutrients.

We focus on maintaining strong, healthy colonies and practicing responsible, sustainable beekeeping. Healthy bees are the foundation of everything we do, and we take pride in carefully managing our hives, raising quality queens and nucleus colonies, and helping support the local bee population and pollination of surrounding plants and gardens.

In addition to honey production, we also provide nucleus colonies (nucs), hive equipment, and beekeeping supplies for both new and experienced beekeepers. We enjoy helping new beekeepers get started, answering questions, and supporting others in the beekeeping community.

Our goal at Nature Harmony Apiary is simple: promote healthy bees, support local agriculture, produce high-quality local honey, and help more people learn about and appreciate the important role pollinators play in our environment.
